With its rich cultural heritage from Native American and Spanish settlers, New Mexico has been both a Spanish colony and a Mexican colony, and still retains a strong individual identity within the United States. The landscape is breathtaking, the food incredible, and there is a thriving cultural scene, all of which makes New Mexico, and Santa Fe in particular, a great place all year long.

Nice surprise, on side road off the main road. Elected to sit in the desert garden in back, nice and relaxing in a swinging bench. Knowledgeable staff that is helpful with advice of how each beer tastes so you can make an informed selection. Dog friendly. Impressive beer selection. Enjoyed the Alien Amber Ale.... perfect for the dry climate. Later tried the Desert Pilsner which was very enjoyable also.

Bombs Away Brewery - built by a decorated USAF veteran (EOD hero) and his wife. Totally great atmosphere and some really good beer. John & Hillary (owners) are dedicated to making great quality beer amongst all the other great quality beer makers in ABQ. Their "Willie Pete Witt" is one of the best European Witt beers I have had that was not in Europe!! They do have some limited eats, but mainly it's just a great watering hole. Of note, they have a board for "Buy a Veteran a Beer" where folks can pre-buy military vets a free beer I will go back many, many times!!

We were looking for something to eat on our way back to Albuquerque from visiting Santa Fe for the day. We saw a sign for this place early and looked it up. We tried some beers and cider and ordered a variety of food. Not your typical bar food but a step above. We had some tacos and some fries with green chili. Hottest green chilies we have had!

La Cumbre continues its high- quality beer production and service. Try Malpais Stout from tap—worth the trip from Spokane to sample it live.

Established on the outskirts of the Brewery District, Red Door offers amazing beer, a comfortable taproom, and tons of fun things to do such as a Nintendo 64 and TVs with tons of sporting events.
Nice small venue in the middle of downtown ABQ...if you're near and like beer they have some very unique selections...I had one called "Glazed and Confused" which has 40 pounds of donuts in the wort. Nice selection of food...I had the Cobb salad which was very good and a lot of it...$12. I'm back for lunch the next afternoon and the six burger choices (all served with ample crispy fries) are $10
