With its rich cultural heritage from Native American and Spanish settlers, New Mexico has been both a Spanish colony and a Mexican colony, and still retains a strong individual identity within the United States. The landscape is breathtaking, the food incredible, and there is a thriving cultural scene, all of which makes New Mexico, and Santa Fe in particular, a great place all year long.

Last of the Old West. The owner Karen is one of the 7 residence in White Oak & if you have the time will tell you the history of the town. Worth your time to experience how it really was in the late 1800's. Not all the fluff from seeing on TV.

We love this little place when we can get there during its business hours. It closes for the day at 3:00, so it is not an option on the way home from a day of skiing at TSV. The bar is connected and remains open, but doesn't serve food.
