Whether you are looking for sun-drenched beaches or outdoor activities in beautiful countryside, New Jersey has plenty to offer. Those who love the great outdoors should head for the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, which runs along the Delaware River for forty miles. Here you can go rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking or fishing, or simply admire the stunning waterfalls. There is a huge range of hiking trails to choose from as well as historic sites to visit. In winter, you can enjoy cross-country skiing near Blue Mountain Lakes, and birdwatchers might be lucky enough to catch sight of bald eagles. If you are looking for a change, visit one of New Jersey's eleven lighthouses that are open to public, such as the one in Cape May. For art and history enthusiasts, New Jersey State Museum in Trenton has historic artifacts and American fine art from the nineteenth century to the present day as well as a Planetarium.

I ordered a basket for Valentine's Day for my wife, which was beautifully done and delivered to my house. My wife was ecstatic. They included a local honey, Tea, a soft cozy blanket, a pillow that you heat up ,a candle and chocolates from J. Emanuel Chocolatier! Crazy good stuff. She is still enjoying it. Job well done. You must go inside the main building, the woodwork is beautiful, the displays are done so tastefully and the aroma is so nice. A great selection of everything that you would want in your garden/yard.

Located in downtown Morristown, N.J., Macculloch Hall has been part of the local community for over 200 years, first as the home to community-minded residents, George and Louisa Macculloch (1775-1858, 1785-1863), and since 1950, as a not-for-profit museum and garden. Founder W. Parsons Todd (1877-1976) endowed MHHM as a resource for all Morristown and Morris County residents. A Federal brick mansion, Macculloch Hall was built in 1810 by George Perrott Macculloch (1775-1858), the "Father of the Morris Canal." Today this historic house and decorative arts museum comprises nine period rooms, two exhibition galleries, a dedicated classroom, and an expansive formal garden, which is open to the public free of charge.

This 127-acre preserve, which surrounds a historic Colonial-Revival mansion and its formal gardens, offers self-guided nature trails with all trees and shrubs labeled as reference.
I discovered this place in 2019 and wanted to go back in the spring, so glad I did! The flowering trees and all the daffodils were beautiful! Definitely a nice place for a walk to quiet place to sit and look at all the beauty.

Welcome to Liberty Hall Museum at Kean University, home of New Jersey's first elected governor and signer of the Constitution, William Livingston. Built in 1772, on the eve of the American Revolution, Liberty Hall has been a silent witness to more than 200 years of American history. Over the last two centuries, the originally 14-room Georgian manor has grown into a 50-room Victorian-Italianate Mansion! The site houses extensive collections of antique furniture, ceramics, textiles, toys and tools owned by seven generations of the Livingston and Kean families. Liberty Hall has been home to Governors, U.S. Congressmen and Senators, entrepreneurs, and pioneering women with vision and strength. The stories of their lives, passed down from generation to generation, tell how this family met the challenges of a changing nation. Visit Liberty Hall Museum to discover the living past during house and garden tours, educational programs, special events, and lectures!
What a great day we had! The tea assortment was wonderful, the young lady who escorted us thru the Kean home was very knowledgeable & it was fun to learn not only thr history of the Kean family but also other notable famous people that lived & visited the home over the years - looking forward to going back in 2020

Rutgers Gardens is a 180-acre botanic garden, consisting of designed gardens, plant collections, a student farm, farmers market, and natural habitats. As part of Rutgers University, Rutgers Gardens serves as a living laboratory for faculty and staff, while providing experiential and service learning opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. We have a vibrant volunteer program and host many special events and activities for families throughout the year.
Rutgers Gardens is one of my favorite places: beautiful, interesting flowers, hikes through the woods and through fields and inspiration for your own garden.

I’m a nature lover. I follow the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens in NY. I follow them on Instagram, which lead Instagram to suggest I follow NJBG. I’m so glad they did! Originally I wanted to get married in Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Waaaay to expensive. Once we visited the New Jersey Botanical Gardens - we fell in love!!!!! A dated manor (we love history too) on big beautiful grounds with one wedding at a time. Getting married 7/3/18

Well-maintained, super clean and super-informative!. We loved the cell phone info stops along the pathways. A wonderful place to stroll post-Sunday brunch year round. These gardens depend on their members. We will be supporting this non-profit.
