This bakery is highly recommended on trip advisor reviews and rightly so. A wide choice of muffins and some cookies. The oatmeal cookies are like no other oatmeal cookies I’ve ever had - stupendous! Don’t miss an opportunity to try them and get an extra package to take home and freeze. The gift shop items on sale were okay but the cookies were outrageous! Check the opening hours and perhaps call ahead. It’s not always open and if they sell out, they close shop.

Don't leave the lakes region without getting here- the store is a warm, friendly, large home converted into a fabulous store with great things for your home or yard. Antiques, new items, great furniture, house items, candles, clothes, signs, jewelry, and perfect gifts for yourself or for others.

Awesome store with handmade and cool finds! Drove down the road just to cross the bridge, and I had to stop at this building. The building and items were unique and fun to look at. Staff was friendly and great to chat with about hiking and the mountain. Wish I had more time to stay and explore around the shop.

Annalee Dolls have been around for decades. And in the past few years, they've added so many more fun woodland creatures to their "doll" collection. As a result, I've become much more interested in their products. Walking around the store is a really nice to spend some time. There are so many creative and colorful products. It's a greatway to shop for friends and loved ones since the items are reasonably priced - and adorable. Definitely worth a visit.

NH's State House - with the oldest continuously used legislative chambers! Opened in June 1819! Home of the General Court of NH!
Full of nooks and crannies, this very old building exudes Yankee thrift and durability. Set amid the town, and not walled off from the flow of life, the capitol building screams New Hampshire. Live free or die!

Absolutely amazing candy store - all sorts of candies - chocolates, penny candy, and al;most every candy you remember from your childhood. Reasonably priced & sold by weight. The only problem is what to choose!
