Richibucto River Wine Estate

Richibucto River Wine Estate is the home of award-winning New Brunswick wines. The vineyard is set beside the Richibucto River, 5 km outside of Rexton, New Brunswick. There are twenty acres of vineyards spread across the property, growing many varieties of cold-climate grapes. The winery is focused on providing high-quality grape wines and customer satisfaction. It was established in 2005. It is owned and operated by its founder, Alan Hudson and his family. As of July 2015, the wines have won 17 medals (5 Gold, 4 Silver, and 8 Bronze) in both the national All Canadian Wine Championships, Canadian Wine Awards, and the Atlantic Canadian Wine Awards. There is a boutique on-site for purchase of wine and souvenirs, and a tasting bar.

I’m a local, having worked at the brewery previously but never visited as a tourist so when my friends came to visit from Germany, we decided to do the tour! Greg was a great tour guide and had lots of knowledge to share and John in the Small Batch was lovely! Definitely recommend for anyone visiting.

Welcome and Visit the First Coop Cottage Winery in NB. In 2000, the farm produced the first red wine in the province. We invite you to stroll in the vinyard and fruit crops, such as elderberries and haskaps. Sampling and sales on site for all our products : Red, Blueberry, Elderberry and Strawberry wine. You can also pick a campsite for the night facing Northumberland Strait (private beach).
