We drove through the Mohave Desert on our way to Las Vegas. The Mohave Desert occupies over 47,000 square miles. We also visited during our trip two of the parks in the Mohave Desert, Joshua Tree by Greater Palm Springs area; as well as Red Rock Canyon by Las Vegas. Its a superb and very large desert area.
