Taking a light aircraft flight over the plains 200 miles south of Lima is the best way to appreciate the Nasca Lines, the World Heritage-designated geoglyphs etched into the stony desert surface. The creators and meaning behind these startlingly precise abstracts and animal figures remain a mystery, but their 1939 discovery launched a steady swarm of tourists upon this tiny town – accessible via bus from Lima, Cusco and Arequipa.

Where do I start? I’m a solo traveler who booked a ticket to Peru 4 days before the flight and I’ve never been to South America and nor can I speak Spanish which made me anxious. Peru Hop was the first company I contacted via email and they have been super helpful!! From all the communication, the arrangements, Peru hop made it so so easy!! It’s not like the hop on hop off buses in Europe, this is a tour full of experiences and I’m always skeptical for paying to travel around but this is well worth it. More importantly the guides were great in particular Ricardo!! This guy made me feel so welcomed, talked to me like we’ve know each other for ages. He answered all my questions, made enquirer for me, and looked after me. Alex have such good insight to the national reserve. I met wonderful people and had the best time of my life. I’m booking Peru Hop again for Cusco to lake titicaca. I don’t usually write reviews but I had to share how good they were.

The Nazca Lines represent one of the greatest wonders of Peru, and one of the most visited destinations by tourists from around the world. It is impressive to witness the works of an ancient culture, and obviously it raises certain questions: How could they be perfectly designed in this great desert? What were the exact purposes? How did such an ancient civilization create these majestic figures? Will the figure of the astronaut mean something special?
Inclusions: Private transportation, Nazca lines overflight, Visit to the Huacachina oasis to take photos

Our Tour organized by Frank was how to live a dream. Everything is perfect, well organized in every detail. We did not have any problems moving, organizing the hotels. We moved from Cuzco to Macchu Picchu 2 days and then back to Cuzco another 2 days. Perfect organization of the thorns, buses, hotels, tour guides ... and then his smile and sympathy and ... great professionalism. We recommend the tour full of emotions that change the essence of being !!!
