Napo (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈnapo]) is a province in Ecuador. Its capital is Tena. The province contains the Napo River. The province is low developed without much industrial presence. The thick rainforest is home to many natives that remain isolated by preference, descendants of those who fled the Spanish invasion in the Andes, and the Incas years before. In 2000, the province was the sole remaining majority-indigenous province of Ecuador, with 56.3% of the province either claiming indigenous identity or speaking an indigenous language.

A tan solo 45 minutos del nuevo aeropuerto de Quito, a 50 kilometros de distancia (31 millas) en un recorrido lleno de hermosos y pintorescos paisajes andinos se encuentra el Spa, Resort y Centro de Convenciones "Termas de Papallacta". Este complejo turistico de aguas termales esta ubicado en la llamada, "Ruta de la Canela", la misma que el conquistador Francisco de Orellana tomo en 1542, cuando cruzo la Cordillera Andina y que inesperadamente le llevo al descubrimiento del Rio Amazonas. Papallacta es la puerta de entrada a la Amazonia Ecuatoriana. Tiene una temperatura diurna promedio ambiental de 14 o C (57 o F).

This place is a gem! There are pools with hot spring water of different temperature, the massage is great, and the landscape around is breathtaking! It was a great pleasure! Highly recommend!

Terjamanco is a place of relaxation where the visitor is in harmony with the nature where we find swimming pools, lodging, food, a lagoon that is behind the spa where the visitors can travel in boats, we can make walks where we can observe birds that are endemic of the we stopped, it is an exquisite experience for the visitors.
