Nakhon Pathom (Thai: นครปฐม, pronounced [náʔkʰɔ̄ːn pā.tʰǒm]) is a city (thesaban nakhon) in central Thailand, the former capital of Nakhon Pathom Province. One of the most important landmarks is the giant Phra Pathom Chedi. The city is also home to Thailand's only Bhikkhuni temple Wat Song Thammakanlayani (วัดทรงธรรมกัลยาณี), which is also open to women from abroad.

Take a morning stroll of this beautiful palace grounds - meticulously kept and with the most interesting plantings and buildings for miles. Built by King Rama VI when he was still a prince, this is one of the best maintained places I've seen in Thailand. With an elegant bridge between two novel houses, a wonderful collection of memorabilia, and a main house that is unique and displays stunning collections, this is very worth your time. The guides are well versed and the whole feeling of the grounds is both elegant and homey.
Khlong Maha Sawat is a khlong (canal) in Thailand. Visitors can cruise by the long-tail boat to see the scenery and agricultural gardens throughout the route. And participate in collecting lotus or visit the fruit garden of locals to watch the orchard and mixed farming with seasonal fruits. Also, visit the paddy fields.
