The history of glass manufacturing in Okinawa began in the middle of the Meiji era, and daily supplies such as (Hamp of Hoya), (medicine bottle) and (confectionery bottle) were made until the early Showa era. In full-scale Ryukyu glass manufacturing, we began making colored glassware after the war using empty bottles such as cola and beer bottles. Now that materials have become abundant, it also incorporates various techniques for coloring, and combined with its unique beauty, it has become widely recognized as a sparkling art object that is incorporated into life.
