We have happily hired Nagasaki tour guide Shannon Lefebvre for our two visits to Japan and have recommended him to others. Yes, you'll see the usual tourist sights, but he also offers delightful off-the-beaten path experiences, such as having a picnic lunch amid cherry blossoms (when they're blooming) or visiting an unusual hotel where the front desk "receptionists" are robots. His tours are highly recommended.

We have happily hired Shannon Lefebvre twice for our two visits to Nagasaki. Yes, we did the usual tourist sites, but he also gives you an enjoyable glimpse of daily life in the area, including -- weather permitting -- a tasty picnic lunch and immersing your tired traveler's feet in soothing hot springs water. An excellent day trip for cruise ship passengers or other visitors to Nagasaki and vicinity.

The flexibility to chose locations that suited our wants and abilities was great. Hiro San was very quick to put together an itinerary that accommodated a family with a stroller-baby (no monkey park due to long unpacked walking paths). Taking in the beautiful temples and view of the Kyoto from the west was breath taking and the guide was able to explain many things we as new Japanese learners could not read or know through cultural knowledge. Overall a great experience, a wonderful and lively guide, and some great memories.
