Myrtle Beach is all at once a spring break destination, golfing destination, retirement community, and family vacation spot. Take in a foot-stomping show at the Carolina Opry, or cheer on your favorite knight at Medieval Times. Mingle with the fishermen of Springmaid Pier, then stop for ice cream along the boardwalk. Shop and dine at one of the area’s many outdoor entertainment complexes, or simply explore the many beaches of the Grand Strand – all with a personality of their own.

At the end of April my wife and I spent 3 days with Ted and his crew and had a great experience with them on the range, in the classroom and on the courses. The pace and depth of instruction were enough to challenge all who attended, from a true beginner to seasoned veterans, and the staff's ability to work constructively with golfers of all levels at the same time was remarkable. My wife and I truly enjoyed and benefited from the experience and it was a great shared activity. We recommend Classic Swing for anyone who is serious about wanting to improve their golf game.

Played the south course today , when we arrived there was a big crowd, but the bag attendants took care of us right away and we were on our way. Big group on the first hole so starter sent us to #10 hole and we were off! They know what they are doing! Great course in great condition for early in the season, had a wonderful day of golf.

Folks, you can't get better in Myrtle Beach anywhere around. From the moment you pull up the Staff is excellent. Respectful, professional, and jovial. Pro Shop Staff is superb, and the starter/cart staff is the best too. Now the course. Superb! The layout is great, and the conditions are the best. Bring your best putting stroke, because no doubt you are not used to greens this quick. They putt great. Wished I could have played a little better, hot and cold, but not to diminish. It is probably one of the most expensive courses on The Strand, but worth it. Finish in the bar with a snack and a beer, and the bartenders were just as good as everyone else on the Staff, friendly, helpful, and great service. Enjoy the round and the 19th hole too

Man O' War

Designed by Dan Maples, this 18-hole public golf course stretches 6,967 yards from the championship tees.

Played Man O War today and the course was in excellent condition. It was cart path only today due to the very heavy rain yesterday. No matter, the course was a joy to play . Lush fairways, and while the greens were recently punched, they were in great condition just like the rest of the course. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. You gotta like to play where there is a lot of water if you play here. The water just makes it more interesting. I am looking forward to playing here again.

Played this course again and really enjoyed it. Very forgiving and quite open for drives off line.Course was in great shape with excellent fairways and greens. Met some real nice local players who helped me navigate the course. Would definitely return as price was quite reasonable as well. Highly recommended.

Moved to MB 3 years ago. Live on Lakes green #6 and tee box #7. Love it. This is by far one of the nicest courses in Myrtle Beach. Came from Michigan where they have nice courses but a short season. Have played Dunes, Pine Lakes, King's North, etc. etc. and overall Arrowhead is one of the nicest. The layout, the people, the care to the course all top notch AND it's green all year, lol. Still not use to seeing MB courses in the winter. Glad Arrowhead over seeds. Talking to people coming to MB to play golf they all say "always play Arrowhead" or "I've been told not to miss Arrowhead" . These are so true. Hate to have more people come to my course, lol, but really don't miss it. Ray Floyd did "good".

Two of us played here the day after Thanksgiving and they could not have treated us better. They put a third gentleman with us, which I normally do not like but considering the date and the nice weather the course was very busy. As it turned out the guy was a lot of fun. the starter explained the course to us and told us of hidden problems. The course was in great shape, the greens were exceptional and we had a great time. We were seldom held up by the group in front of us and never saw the group behind us. We had a great time.

Had lots of fun at this course and it was surprisingly good for little kids. Have two kids (7 and 5) and they can struggle playing mini golf. However, they were each able to get a hole in one on this course and didn’t get a “5” on each hole. Much easier for little kids to have fun when they know they have a chance on each hole. Played the easier of the two courses (conch) and what is most fun about this course is it goes up, down, inside, and outside, and finishes with a great view of Myrtle Beach and the ocean (4 stories up) from the 18th hole. The 19th hole is fun too as a semi impossible challenge and a great way to finish. The course also has an elevator for people who struggle with stairs and lots of benches around the holes. Located in the center of Myrtle Beach. Costs $12/adult and $10/kid without coupon.

Captain Hook's Adventure Golf

Reviewed By RICART75 - Peru, United States

This is one of the nicer miniature-golf courses we've played in a very long time (and there are many from which to choose in the area). Obviously, considering the name, the theme/decor is Peter Pan oriented. Being mid-week, off-season; there were no lines, and the atmosphere was relaxed and laid-back. Both courses (Hook with the pirate ship, or Lost Boys with the skull cave) are well-maintained, nicely conceived and enjoyable to navigate. This is a nice option for having some easy-going fun.
