The Ferry is cheap, once you get to the other side don't bother with any of the tours, not worth your time or the haggling, just walk down the road a few hundred metres then hand a right. You can spend hours strolling down the green tree lined streets, pockets of people playing kick ball, or sitting around chatting, everyone will return your smile, shrug off the odd bike tour offer that you come across and just enjoy taking a peak into the authentic lives of the people who live there. If you are over there towards the end of the day you'll see plenty of people coming home from work, it's a great atmosphere if you are happy to just stroll around and find your own way.
