If you find some awesome place to take a bike trip in Thailand with your family, friends, or couple, I think Bang Krachao is the best answer. Bang Krachao is an artificial island located in the Chao Praya River. Bang Krachao is also known as the green lung of Bangkok because It is surrounded by many trees grow up among the city of air pollution. There are many ways to get to Bang Krachao. If you guys don’t have private car, you can take BTS skytrain to Udomsuk station, and then take a taxi or a pick-up truck taxi to pier, then take a ferry to Bang Krachao. When you arrived at Bang Krachao, you will see many bicycle rental shops. So, you can pick bicycle which you like. The cost of each bicycle is 50 baht per day, and you must return the bicycle before 5 p.m., after that you will receive the map to guide you to the place that you want. In the map, it includes the place like Bangnampuengnok temple which situated near the pier and Dhevasathan that you can go inside to make a merit. The next place is Bangnamphueng Floating Market which has a lot of delicious Thai food, dessert, refreshing beverage (such as honey lemon juice), homemade products, and including fortune teller, that is place that I like the most because the food is very delicious! Next is Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park and Botanical Garden. This place is far away from the pier 7 kilometers. You have to ride a bicycle to go there. In the park it is surrounded by a lot of trees. So, these trees make a good ambiance and make people feel calm and relaxed. I think if you want to spend time for relaxing or having a picnic, Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park is very appropriate place!! Here are some places in Bang Krachao that I recommend for you. Actually, there are a lot of places which sound interesting to go there, but you should experience it for yourself, and I think you will love Bang Krachao and want to come back again and again, like me.
