We were based in Casablanca and took day drips to Rabat and Marrakech. The tours were accommodating and helpful. Abdu and our drivers were consummate professionals. I can’t believe we got them for the price we paid. The car was a very nice new SUV. Trust me you don’t want to drive in Morocco. We found Rabat beautiful and less crowded, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V was the most spectacular part of the trip. Marrakech was hot and crowded. Shopping in the old market was a little overwhelming. No prices on anything so have to ask and haggle everything (not my jam), so Abdu took us to a giant 2 story store where we bought several rugs we found gorgeous. Wouldn’t have been able to do anything without Abdu to help. I think the nightlife may have been interesting in Casablanca but isn’t my thing. Made me say this was Aug 2020 was in Aug 2019, don’t know how it is during the pandemic. My wife and I were the only ones on the tour.

In the middle of the vineyards and at the gates of Meknes, the Interior Architects Paul Sartres and JB Barian have imagined a whole in total harmony with the surrounding environment. The classic yet contemporary design, which combines natural and noble materials such as wood, leather, stone and polished concrete, makes this establishment a place dedicated to the art of living in the heart of the vineyards. Located in the wine estate “Château Roslane”, this jewel of charm and sweetness is a delight. The majestic entrance porch made of stone with its huge Moroccan door and copper hanging lantern, welcome you before arriving in the high ceiling lobby where there is a huge wrought iron chandelier forming leaves and bunches of grapes. My 80 year-old father and I visited Morocco in February/March, 2019 and hired Hassan for a customized tour for the portion of our trip that took us from Fez to Volubilis, and Meknes. There aren't many tours of Meknes, and my father grew up there, so we were looking for a very specific, non-touristy itinerary for much of our time there. Not only was Hassan an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide, but he assisted in fulfilling my father's dream of revisiting his childhood homes, helping us locate the houses after 35 years and many street name changes. Hassan was very thoughtful of my father's age and quirks, was accommodating, and very personable. We even hired Hassan for a quick tour of Casablanca and Rabat, which we hadn't planned ahead of time. Luckily for us, Hassan made the time to take us to the major attractions there as well. I can't thank Hassan enough for his hospitality, professionalism, and knowledge. He made a trip of a lifetime possible and an old man happy to revisit his youth. I would not hesitate to give Hassan my highest recommendation!
