Bribie Island Golf Club

Reviewed By 269margareta

The golf course sits in the dunes on the ocean side of Bribie. The fairways and greens are beautifully grassed and the kookaburras sit along the way urging you forward. Some holes are really long but the stroll through the former wetlands on a crisp winter's day makes for a memorable experience. COVID 19 rules were in place so the dining area was closed. Nearby there's highrise accommodation and packages are available.

Overseas visitors would love this course (once Covid travel restrictions are lifted of course) with large buck kangaroos and mothers with joeys grazing and lying around in the winter sun. They don't interfere with the golf by the way. The course is magnificently presented with fairways and greens in top condition. There are lots of challenging white sand bunkers and large water courses to attract the wayward hitters! The clubhouse facilities are excellent, staff are friendly and check in is easy.
