I have attended Coburg lake with work. It gives you time to reflect. The lake is clean safe. The BBQ area is clean . There are many different areas to go to the grass and trees are well maintained. The ducks like to be feed.

Gavin Park was once a creek. Remnants of the Westbreen Creek can be found elsewhere, and link to this park. At the moment, the park is green and looks inviting. The facilities are good and include shelters and seating. The playground will appeal to children. The BBQ and toilets are useful. The park is becoming popular now that the weather is warming up

H W Foletta Park is on Glenlyon Street, in Brunswick, at the corner of Garden Street.. Glenlyon Street is a moderately busy road, so some care is needed. This smallish park has tables for picnickers and a range of play equipment for younger children. This public space is welcome in Brunswick, an inner city suburb lacking recreational facilities for children. Dogs can be walked on leash, as long as they are kept away from the play equipment. Grass is lacking, most ground cover is provided by woodchips. Woodchips are cheap to maintain, but grass is softer..

Campbell Reserve is a large park in Coburg, which is in a process of being upgraded by the Moreland City Council. It has picnic tables and tiolet facilities, plus a water fountain. The park has large, shady trees. It also has sports facilities for football and soccer. Dog owners will appreciate the fact that Campbell Reserce is an off-leash dog area. By the way, other park users would be pleased if dog owners picked up any doggy droppings. Campbell Reserve is located in Moreland Road.

We go often for family gatherings and I walk the dogs there regularly. Small, but a lovely green space.

Shore Reserve has quirky playground equipment that will please children of all ages.. It's quite a big park, as suburban parks go, with enough space for teens to kick a ball. The BBQ is available for all. It's a good place for a picnic, with lots of facilites. For those who travel by public transport, the tram stops nearby. There's also a public toilet. By the way, Shore Reserve is an off-leash dog park, please remember to pick up any doggy droppins.
