Really good beach and prom. Backdrop of Lakeland fells and hills is staggering and speed of the tides is amazing. I liked all the rocky outcrops too and the half moon shape of the bay. Fantastic
I'm Alex Dickson and I love this place and love showing people around. The Bay stretches for 120 sq miles (310sq km) and is a unique ecosystem where over 240,000 birds, hundreds of seals and the occasional dolphin visit each year and is home to an incredible array of sealife. Morecambe has an incredible history, first as a fishing village, then a major seaside resort and is now transitioning into a centre for environmental tourism. I can't wait to show you around.
