Based on a suggestion from our hotelier, we drove out here from near Gubbio one hot weekday. Italian hill towns all have their charms, and this one is no exception. Visitors are greeted by narrow, winding streets fronted by tidy houses all with colourful flowers, a cute central piazza and incredible views of the surrounding countryside from both hills spanned by the town. There's even a tiny jail in the base of one the torrres. We just went to wander the town for an hour, but there's also an abundance of small restaurants and bars which means you could also grab a nice after exploring this very cute town. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
