This lookout affords the traveler a very striking view of Saint Mary Lake and the tiny Wild Goose Island that is framed in the distance by beautiful mountains. From here, a very iconic photograph of the Island can be taken.

The Jackson Glacier Overlook, Glacier National Park, show one of the glacier. It is gorgeous. The trees and mountains made it even more beautiful! Sad news: Every glacier is shrinking. In the past they had hundred glaciers in 1910. There are only 35 glaciers left over. I enjoyed looking at it and at the same time, I wonder what will happen with the glaciers?

During our North Rim drive of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, we made a quick stop at Lookout Point after stopping at the Lower Brink of the Falls. We came on Friday, 9/4 at around 8:30 am. The air was cool and it was nice and quiet with very few people. This is a very easy 15 minute stop where you can get a great view of the waterfalls.

Had a pleasant hike from the Avalanche area to The Loop and was not disappointed. The views were spectacular and the roads were clear of cars this day, as only bicyclists and hikers were allowed to venture in this part of the park.

This place is an awesome and unique sight! Must see in Butte. The thing is massive. Worth the $3 fee. Check it out. Trust me. It’s worth it! Pair it with the Mining museum for a full understanding of the importance of mining in Butte’s history.
