Only 7 people and the tour was by Van. The driver guided us during the drive but no guide joined us at our stop in Castellina. Professional presentations at the wineries. Especially at Poggio Amorreli with Andrea where we were treated with Spumante, one white and two red Chianti and one supertuscan. We also got bread, cheese, salami with their own balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The driver called for a taxi upon arrival in Florence ????

What an amazing day! It started with truffle hunting with Roberto and his two dogs - Ori and Chloe! We learned a lot about truffle hunting and how the dogs are trained. Chloe was 'in training' and it was fun to see how Roberto used both dogs. They found about 12 truffles in all of various sizes! Then we headed to a small family winery where we ate the fruits of our labor!!! We had a 4 course 'absolutely delicious' meal, tasted a lot of great wines, in addition to olive oil and honey! We even bought a bottle of wine to take with us and watched Sylvia add the DOCG label by hand (which are closely tracked by the region)! We had a great tour guide, Paelo, with us the entire day! He picked us us at our farmhouse, was our translator when needed, was very courteous and informative! I would highly recommend this very unique experience! And I would recommend Tuscany Private Tours. They were very easy to communicate with and very responsive!

My husband and I did the wine and food sidecar tour with Tommie. I can honestly say this food and wine tour was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Tommie was absolutely wonderful. He was full of information and exceptionally kind and professional. The places he took us, the scenery we saw was breathtaking. He took us to a little winery where we did a tour and had the most delicious homemade lunch. Maurizio and Loretta were the sweetest people. The wine, the food... oh my! If you are in Florence, the sidecar tour is a must!!! At the end of the day, my soul felt revitalized. We plan on going back to Italy just to see Tommie and do another sidecar tour.

Full day, three-winery Montalcino + Montepulciano wine tasting tour with a proper English speaking designated driver+guide with encyclopedic-knowledge of local terrain in a comfortable Mercedes van, breakfast at Nonnino, a proper pasta lunch (not just mere nibblings), enough brunello (mostly), rosso and super Tuscan wine tastings to probably break a tasting record while simultaneously making you plan the next full day wine tour in the coming weeks and telling a bunch of friends immediately about this amazing experience by word of mouth including having an amazing time in Florence on our own - now that's a proper weekend getaway! Nicolo and his tour company with his chef wife are definitely open for business to help plan the perfect Tuscan getaway. Can't wait to try the Chianti + San Gimignano wine tour and then perhaps a customized Tuscan gastronomy experience! Strongly, from-my-heart, recommended. Davvero. PS: I wasn't compensated in any way nor had my cost reduced in order to write this review. Am just happy to share the genuinely wonderful experience I had. PPS: Make sure to budget for the fantastic bottles of wine you'll definitely be buying at each of the wineries. Ended up spending way more than planned. PPPS: A new learning: a wine tour is perfect for when the weather is uncooperative. There were intermittent ???? the entire weekend, so, we did Florence by foot during the few hours of sun, while the wine tastings, which took up the vast majority of our time, were done indoors or under complete protection from the elements. Arrive in Florence on a Friday afternoon, leave Florence on a Sunday evening, Frecciarossa both ways. Prefect weekend getaway from Rome or Milan etc.

Absolutely the best day I had while visiting Italy. Angel was our guide for the entire day. At the first winery we had the pleasure of starting the visit with a tour of the vineyard in a horse-drawn cart, followed by a fantastic lunch with km0 products. Visit to the village of Suvereto and finish with more wine in a family winery where they create one of the most appreciated wines in Italy. I can say with certainty that this day was one of, if not the best day of our vacation in Tuscany.

We did a 3-hour private tour of Siena with Giorgia this summer with our two teenage children. It was just perfect! Giorgia is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of Siena and beyond, and it clearly showed in the depth of her answers to the very many questions that we asked. She was flexible to adapt the tour based on what we were interested in. Although not originally from Siena, she knows and loves the city like a local and has the ability to make the tour unforgettable. 160 Euros for a fantastic private our of Sienna. Very good value for money. Probably the best private city tour that we have ever done.
