Meet with your guide and drive to the ruins of Manzushir Monastery on the edge of Bogd Khan mountain range. From there we take a 3-4 hour hike on a trail of moderate difficulty through mixed forests and alpine meadows to 2256m Tsetsee Gun peak, the highest point of the mountain range. We have a picnic lunch on the peak with scenic views of typical Siberian forests in the background before heading back down. We visit the monastery complex which was originally built in 1733. It was completely destroyed during anti-religion campaigns of 1930-ies with just the main temple remaining to these days. But apart from it we will see a few sections of shattered walls, foundations, stone terraces and some stone niches in the cliffs. The main temple building was recently been renovated and now serves as museum. We return to Ulaanbaatar in late afternoon.

This fantastic Golden Eagle festival combined cultural photographing tour takes place in Western Mongolia, on Altai mountains, one of the longest mountain chains in Central Asia. Terelj National Park is set in a spectacular valley with fascinating rock formations and pine covered mountains, where you can enjoy horseback riding, hiking and photo shooting. It's the ideal destination for ones who have limited amount of time to explore the country. On this tour we will take you to a nomadic family and go on horse to Turtle rock, 23m tall turtle shaped rock - one of the famous places in Terelj and hike up to Aryabal medication temple on the beautiful hillside. From the park we'll easily connected Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex. The statue is dedicated to Mongolian legendary emperor - Chinggis Khaan. It is 40m high and well known as the tallest equistrian stainless steel statue in the world. The museum inside the complex has small exhibition of "ger", traditional yurt.

If you come to Ulaanbaatar, you should not miss Genghis Khan Statue Complex which is currently the biggest (131ft/40m tall) equestrian statue in the world. It is connected to Ulaanbaatar by a paved road of 34mi/54km. The complex includes a recreation area, restaurants, and souvenir shops occupying the base of the structure. From here, you could use an elevator or walk to the head of the horse through chest and back of the horse neck where you will have a fantastic panorama view over the nearby area.
