Molde (Norwegian pronunciation: [²mɔldə] ( listen)) is a town and municipality in Romsdal in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The municipality is located on the Romsdal Peninsula, surrounding the Fannefjord and Moldefjord. The town is located on the northern shore of the Romsdalsfjord.

How about a 4-hour sea kayaking 'expedition' on Moldefjord - with real expedition meals and the same gear as on a 40-day trip. You will be amazed how easy it is and how good the food tastes. Kayaking with DID is for everybody it doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an expert. A 3-4 hours paddling trip from Molde to the skerries, with a stop ashore on an island. DID will meet you with kayaks whereever you are in Molde. We adjust the kayaks, give a safety briefing and instruction before we paddle towards the skerries. The course is wind- and weather depending, but after a couple of hours we take a break on an island. Beverage and light food are included. When: You decide. DID is always ready! The region's most popular recreation area all year round, 12 km from Molde on the RV 64 road. Good walking trails, running tracks, orienteering, fishing, canoe paddling and children's play area.Rowing boats, canoes and fishing tackle can be hired from Skarstua Tourist Centre. Horseback riding in the school holidays. Skarstua café serves traditional Norwegian food and its world famous soft ice cream. Tour suggestion: Start and parking at Skarstua, RV64. Follow the road towards the Malmesetra pasture. Turn off to the right at the end of lake Skarvatnet, and follow the path all the way around back to Skarstua. The trip is pram friendly, except a small stretch with a steep hill.
