I ordered an apricot beer, which was good. My husband liked the IPA he ordered as well. Our server was very friendly. The decor and music gives a fun vibe. We were there early in the day so there were only a few people. I imagine it’s be really fun with a crowd and open garage doors.

Order beer from the bar then take back to your seat. The couple of sours they have were delicious! Pineapple and Canadian bacon pizza was also surprisingly delicious for a bar! Very pleasantly surprised. Fish fry had good portions too.

Established in 1860, this 150+ year old brewery is nationally renowned for its award winning beers, with varieties to fit everyone’s tastes. Enjoy the beautiful gardens, complete with wandering peacocks. The Visitors Center houses the Museum of Brewing, Gift Shop and a beautiful old-world style Rathskellar Tap Room (open for tours only). Public and private tours available; call for current details. During the summer months, visit the outdoor Bier Garten under the majestic walnut trees and enjoy fine Schell’s beverages. Live music on Sundays only. (open weather permitting). The first weekend of November features a Christmas Open House. Come and experience all that America’s second-oldest, family-owned brewery has to offer.
We love taking guests to Schell's. We have been there several times - watching the peacocks and deer, shopping in the gift shop, having a beer outside with the various bands playing, it is all just fun! Also beautiful at Christmas when all the luminaries are lit through the gardens and up to the house. Everyone should see it at least once (or many times!).

Minneapolis' first taproom brewery just across the street from Target Field. Easily accessible by LRT and bus. Now you can pair your favorite Fulton beers with food from our Taproom Kitchen.
Always like to try the local brews when in a new city and Minneapolis certainly has lots of options in that department. Fulton has been around the longest and deserves its reputation. One block walk from Minneapolis Hotel to Government Center and a 1$ senior ticket on the Metro to Target Stadium followed by a one block walk straight down the hill and you’re there. Ticket is good for 2 1/2 hrs so we even made the return trip at no extra expense, what’s not to like about that. Indoor and outdoor seating available, friendly welcoming staff, and there’s even an Airstream trailer on premise to fix you some more than passable eats. Started with the dark English lager and accompanied it with a Porchetta sandwich, both excellent. Young cheerful crowd, good music, well tended planters flank the patio, clean throughout including the restrooms. Felt completely safe on the entire foray. I would wonder how crowded it is before and during a baseball game so you might want to check the Twins home game sched before venturing forth, I did. A great cap to a thoroughly enjoyed inaugural trip to the Twin Cities.

We came to Duluth for two nights from the Cities and wanted to immerse ourselves in the beer scene. This was our first brewery and ended up being our favorite. They had a great selection. I especially found their porter delicious (I think they had more than one). We ended up staying for 3 or so instead of 2 because it was a cozy taproom with lots of games. We ended up playing multiple games. I would definitely go back. I wish we would have gotten some growlers to go. They also seemed to have great merchandise.

The North Shore of Lake Superior is a special place. It’s the crash of the waves on the rocky shores, an outdoor adventure in the woods, seeing the stars, sitting by a campfire, being at the cabin, casting a line, a scenic drive with the family, or visiting your favorite taproom overlooking Lake Superior. The nostalgia runs deep and the origins are endless. The experience is unique to you, yet for all to enjoy. Our beers are clean, balanced and approachable. They are brewed with Lake Superior water by hearty souls that embody the North Shore. Wherever or whenever you enjoy a Castle Danger beer, you can taste a little bit of the North Shore in every sip.
We stopped to take time away from the ice-storm upon us and were happy we did! They have many games to play and an inviting atmosphere. We sat at a high top and played cribbage while enjoying some of their famous beers (e.g. Cream ale; IPA). You order at the bar (only)/cash-register. We also had some of their "Wicked" salsa and blue chips ($9) - Worth it! I will be purchasing some online (salsa). BUT... it is not an extensive menu - just a few little snacks. The staff were very warm and encouraging.
