Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, Milwaukee is perhaps best known for its famous breweries and the Major League Brewers, but there's more to the city than beer and baseball. Milwaukee is rich in historical and cultural attractions, making it the perfect place for a weekend of exploring. Check out the newly expanded Milwaukee Art Museum or the Mitchell Park Horticultural Society, which hosts an annual show of the same flora and fauna seen in Georgia O'Keefe's paintings. Those interested in the city's history can visit the grand Pabst Mansion, former home of one of the city's famous beer barons, or the Milwaukee Public Museum, to see what life was like in Old Milwaukee. If the kids are along, don't miss the Milwaukee County Zoo or the Betty Brinn Children's Museum. Of course a trip to the "Genuine American City" would not be complete without a tour of the Miller Brewing Company and a Brewers game at Miller Park.

An intimate, 64 seat theatre and cocktail lounge in the trendy Bay View area. Productions are mostly locally written and produced and range from simple, fun, family-friendly shows to dark, scary and sometimes sexy shows with professional actors, custom 12.1 surround-sound and powerful special effects packed onto a stage smaller than most people's living rooms. Dedicated to proving a lot of "WOW" at some of the lowest ticket prices you'll find anywhere!

The stunning two-tiered layout of The Northern Lights Theater at Potawatomi Bingo Casino in Milwaukee -with booth and table seating on the first level and traditional theater seating above-means getting up close and personal with all your favorite performers in a way you could only dream of in a casino theater.
This is a great place to see a concert! It's a small venue, so even the seats furthest from the stage are still reasonably close and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Drink prices are reasonable also.

My favorite part about this theater is that everyone gets a huge chair with tons of legroom, with a movable tray to set your food or purse on. The rows are wide enough so that if someone needs to get by, you don't have to stand up and/or get pushed. There are also prime areas for the disabled to sit and enjoy the movie. My only complaint about the chairs are that I wish the staff would go through and oil them more regularly because there are several that I know now to avoid because they're so creaky. The place is impeccably clean, well-staffed and the popcorn really is delicious. Concession service is fast and friendly, but you can also take advantage of their wait service so you don't even have to get up during the movie. Oh, but if you do, the bathrooms are beautiful. The Bay View neighborhood is gaining popularity by the day, but I've never had a problem finding street parking. However, given the fact you can order drinks there (did I mention they have a cute little bar you can spend time in before your movie starts?), you might just want to take Uber or Lyft anyway. :)

Whether it is a musical, a comedy or a classic play, the Rep provides quality entertainment in a comfortable, intimate performance atmosphere. The recent revival of West Side Story was a testament to the talent and vitality of the young performers. Be sure to check the web site to see if there is a before or after performance discussion scheduled to expand on the program. Note that for some stage configurations the far left and right sections of the seating bowl may not have sight lines to the entire stage. Likewise, balcony seats may not always be able to view the front of the stage or all of the entrances and exits made via the aisles on the main floor. Parking is not usually a problem as there is a lot immediately below the building that houses the theater but when there are multiple events in the complex and the nearby performing arts center it may become very full resulting in spaces available only several floors below ground. There are other lots just a few blocks to the East that are inexpensive and open to fresh air above ground. Bargain hunters can search for street-side opportunities as many of the nearby metered spots revert to free parking after 6:00 PM or on weekends.

Very intimate venue for a 'bigger, small' theater. Only thing is the seats are a litttllleeee cramped..... We saw Jo Koy there - who is just great, but I'd consider going back. It's in a great area of Milwaukee, so there are lots of options for dinner - in fact, it's across from the Safe House - which is a Milwaukee must visit (I'll be writing a review for there too) We live in the Chicago suburbs - so it was a bit of a drive, but definitely a nice venue.

ComedySportz is an all ages improv comedy show based on suggestions made by you, the audience! You’ll see one Referee and two teams of players competing against each other in improv games, with the occasional willing volunteer joining us up on the field to help the hilarity ensue! We have food, drinks, and 5 regularly scheduled shows every weekend!
Great Improv show for all ages. Funny, entertaining, would definitely recommend for a group that is old or young, big or small. Every show is always something different.
