Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, Milwaukee is perhaps best known for its famous breweries and the Major League Brewers, but there's more to the city than beer and baseball. Milwaukee is rich in historical and cultural attractions, making it the perfect place for a weekend of exploring. Check out the newly expanded Milwaukee Art Museum or the Mitchell Park Horticultural Society, which hosts an annual show of the same flora and fauna seen in Georgia O'Keefe's paintings. Those interested in the city's history can visit the grand Pabst Mansion, former home of one of the city's famous beer barons, or the Milwaukee Public Museum, to see what life was like in Old Milwaukee. If the kids are along, don't miss the Milwaukee County Zoo or the Betty Brinn Children's Museum. Of course a trip to the "Genuine American City" would not be complete without a tour of the Miller Brewing Company and a Brewers game at Miller Park.

Won a gift certificate at a school fundraiser. Stopped in for a quick date night on Thursday. They had 60cent wings. My husband said the buffalo flavor was great. I had a grilled cheese which was great. For a little extra, I had the house salad, which was very nicely prepared with homemade croutons Bartender was great and service and food came out quickly. Lots of choices for food and beverages. Also lots of shuttle to various sporting events. Great little bar.

My friend and I were walking around the Historic Third Ward and saw this awesomely decorated place from the outside. We went in and our server Jackie couldn’t have been more sweet and accommodating. She asked the bartender Lloyd to make me a drink that was a little different due to some allergy restrictions. He took it as a challenge and came up with a yummy concoction. This was a fun experience and highly recommended! Seasonal drinks and food available.

Most breweries tell you how they make beer--that is simple enough. This tour gives you the history of beer in America, takes you through the old brewery and gives you free beer on the tour. Scot was a great tour guide. Try the Endiker (sp) beer. Old school--first rate. I understand there is another tap room on the weekend tours. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the mansion, which I'm told is a must see.

This is definitely the place to go for a cocktail if you're in Milwaukee. It's what you would expect an old time cocktail lounge would have been like in the 30's or 40's. We discovered Bryant's when my daughter attended Marquette University in Milwaukee. There were 4 of us, I ordered a Pink Squirrel, since this was the birthplace of this wonderful drink and they didn't disappoint. My daughter's boyfriend ordered a Wisconsin Old Fashioned and my husband and daughter had them create their own cocktails. They were served a Georgia Peach and La Paloma. All the drinks were spectacular. We hope to stop in again this February. It's worth the price you pay for these unique drinks and a unique experience. This is a real treasure and should be on everyone's bucket list.

One of our very favorite spots for a beer and entertainment. Great place to watch people - all sorts. Families and dogs everywhere. Great Hofbrau Bier on tap with authentic pretzels from Munich. Great food to go along with your beer. Along side the river with nice views of the rapids. Full entertainment schedule is posted on their website. Really a great place to sit and relax. Should be reopening soon after the covid lockdown.

Wine is what we’re all about and our selection focuses on boutique, small-production wines that you can enjoy in three different pour sizes to sample and sip from our 16 unique wine taps, bottle list or house pours. Cocktails and a carefully selected bottle beer list appeal to true enthusiasts. Our menu is casual yet inventive, including gourmet dishes, bar fare, small plates and desserts — all available for late-night dining. Welcome to Walker’s Point, Milwaukee’s warehouse district and newfound foodie neighborhood. In August 2013, a turn-of-the-century building on South 2nd Street, originally the Schupert-Zoeller Printing Company, became Black Sheep. We kept the exposed brick walls, the original wood floors and the soaring beadboard ceiling. We added original artwork, a big metal-top bar and eclectic modern interiors. Developed and fully restored by KPH Construction, Black Sheep joins a growing list of places proud of our Milwaukee roots. Join the neighborhood revelry.
