Went here with the family for an afternoon of mini golf during the Covid-19 pandemic. Staff was friendly and welcomed us to the golf course. We paid and were given our clubs, score cards and told to take a ball from the rack. We were instructed to maintain one hole distance between us and the groups ahead of us. They were spacing out families for social distancing. We were also instructed that upon return we should place our balls and clubs into a bin to be sanitized. Overall, my family enjoyed our time at Putter's Paradise. Staff was friendly and thanked us for coming out. Putting greens were clean and in pretty good shape. I liked all the water features and beautiful flowers throughout the course. Holes were not super easy, but not overly difficult either. We felt it was just right. It took us about 1 hour to complete the course. We really enjoyed the water features: ponds, waterfall, little rivers, etc. We also enjoyed the music being pumped in throughout the course. There are several spots to take a seat to rest if needed on the course. Outside the course they have some patio sets where you could have a picnic lunch OR enjoy one of the ice creams purchased from Putter's Ice Cream stand. My only complaint here is that there is little to NO shade on the actual course. It would be nice if they installed some canopies for shade, trees or maybe some of the large misting fans to combat the heat. Bottom Line: Nice course. I would recommend and we will be back.

This was absolutely the most fun I’ve had in a really long time due to COVID! Not only was camp Adventureland super accommodating despite COVID restrictions, our helper Matt was super fun and kept us laughing. He also ensured we had a lot of fun hatchet throwing with different games and activities. We also did an escape room and while we didn’t end up finishing it, I definitely want to next time we try it! Nothings better than an ice cold alcoholic beverage with our fun too!! Definitely will be back!!

Hatchet-throwing bars, where patrons throw hatchets at targets on the wall, are a growing trend across the country for adults 21 and above. It's primarily a group activity, booked in advance, although the bars accept walk-ins when space is available. A hatchet-throwing booking costs between $25 and $40 a person for 1 or 2 hours respectively.
Ax throwing is a growing trend among people looking for a night out that is a little different. Stumpy's does an excellent job of providing a cozy looking facility where one can release their inner viking,,, or lumberjack. Housed in a large building, ( old warehouse?) the only complaint I have is getting to the place! You can see the very visible sign on the roof from the road, however, the driveway has a sign that is not illuminated and one can barely see it from the road. Every person in my group that drove, went right past the sign and had to turn and come back the other way. That being said, the facility is really nice inside, reminiscent of a lodge. The people working were friendly and professional. Our coach, I believe her name was Jamie, was excellent in instructing all of us how to throw the ax. She checked on us often, and gave pointers. The tables had snacks and waters, but there is also a place to buy drinks ( beer included) and swag. If you want to eat, you can order in food. Once that ax lands on the wood with a satisfying, "Thump!" your night is made! I would suggest sneakers or boots, and go with the intent to have fun! I will definitely be going back. Lastly, there are age minimums, but check as there are family nights.
