Explore with us the medieval cellars and water conduits, the renaissance fortifications and the modern bomb shelters of this historic city. The guides of the Förderverein Nürnberger Felsengänge e.V. will take you down into Nuernberg underground and introduce you to places that have been there for centuries but are "hidden" beneath the streets of Nuremberg. To special times there are also tours in non public cellars, like for example mostly the first week in january.

Heard of the new magical rhino a couple of weeks ago. Centered near Hauptmarkt in Nuremberg, this rhino wants to get stroked. Take a wish and enjoy the magic of Nurembergs sleeping rhino. Recommend it!

Our tour guide said it was a commentary on the yevils of transporting live animals, which sounded very possible. (The hare is escaping from a wooden crate. ) Seen in that light it is very moving. I won't forget it in a hurry. Not actually by Durer but another artist in 1984

The Shipmof Fools was one of the best landmark statues that I saw in the day that I spent in Nuremberg. What an interesting cast:a ship with 2 jester heads one on each end,a dog,a skeleton/grim reaper,a woman, a boy among others. You really need to do a 360 degree walk around this statue to take it all in as it looks different from every angle.Amazing statue, that is very much worth a photo opportunity.
