Think you need an ocean for a beach? Think again. There are miles and miles of sandy lakefront beaches in Michigan (thanks to the four Great Lakes that border it). The west coast of Michigan has especially nice beaches—try a rental in Muskegon, Grand Haven or Saugatuck. You won’t need a car when visiting Mackinac Island. In fact, they’re not allowed—this lovely Victorian resort town is pedestrian-only.

Lake Ann Brewing Company specializes in craft beers as well as ciders, mead, and wine. A casual, rustic "up north" tavern. Large outdoor patio, open weather permitting. Live music on Tuesdays year-round. Music on the patio during the summer months Tuesday - Saturday (weather permitting). Check website for music dates/times/performers as well as current operations related to COVID-19 State mandates/procedures. Full food menu from The Stone Oven restaurant right next door. "Great beer without the pomp and circumstance". Group events are welcome. We ask you to call a week in advance to ensure we can accommodate the group.
Lake Ann Brewery is tucked away in a quiet community, bringing homemade brews, local wines, ciders & meads to northern Michigan in a fun, casual setting. Great outdoor stage with musical entertainment and no cover. Ingenious partnership with the Stove Oven Pizza next door to enjoy at the brewery. A win for both establishments. Highly recommend both.

This music venue and nonprofit organization is dedicated to the presentation and encouragement of folk, roots and ethnic music through live performances by well-known and up-and-coming entertainers.
I'm part of a Hawaiian Dance Group, so we decided to see the Hawaiian Musicians here. It's a nice small venue. Makes a great intimate concert environment. We were on the main floor. The sound and view were excellent! They have concessions, and an elevator for people who can't do the stairs. There were multiple opportunities to meet, greet, purchase CD's, get them autographed, and take photos. A Nice, Small place to have enjoy entertainment!

Stopped in for drink and really enjoyed it. Seems to be a local hangout. Had a widow maker black and it was excellent. Really love the old wooden bar and stained glass canopy over the bar. Would recommend a stop here.

This was our first visit to Copper Harbor and we enjoyed it. My wife and I always enjoy sampling the local brews and were pleased to see there was a brewery there. The beers were excellent...the service (one guy, ladies were fine) was poor and the joint was basically, well, a joint...but come back to the beer: excellent. (The problem I had with the bartender I mentioned was on our first stop in there he was on his cell phone and spent about 5 minutes on it while we were standing there clearly wanting to order something.) It has ambience, I’ll give you that and there was some outside seating. I’ll go back if I’m in the area...but if you are looking for an up-scale brewery this is not it. (Nor do they proclaim to be.). Bottom line: Fun place, good beer.

Tri city has a large selection of beers bet their Belgian brews are incredible. Tonight they had 9 on tap. I tried three of the Belgian brews; Wenona, Fortunata, and Torchon. Wenona was light and citrusy- similar to blue moon but better. Torchon and fortunata were amber in color and stronger flavored. I liked all three. Haven't found a better Belgian brew in Michigan. This brewery is exceptional.

Brewery Terra Firma is a brewery and farm producing culinary-inspired brews in a responsible, sustainable way. Visit our tasting room to sample our creative, balanced beers that we produce using whole ingredients, not flavorings or extracts. The brewery is situated on a small farm minutes from downtown Traverse City where we produce some of the ingredients used in our beers.
I love this brewery for their unique beers. In the past i have had a beet beet. This time i had a Honey Basil beer it was very good. The have their own bees on the property. The staff is always friendly.

Drawing from the Greatest of Lakes and crafting Belgian, American, and English style ales in downtown Marquette since 2012.
We live in town and enjoy the Ore Dock frequently. It is a really friendly place for locals and tourists alike. Stop in, sample some of their delicious brews. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I stopped there for lunch today. He had a Super Yooper burger and I had the Garden, Classic Schuburger. They were both awesome! The sweet potato fries were phenomenal and the pub fries were great too. We will definitely be back soon!!!!!!

This is how to do it. Local feel, amazing food, really great beer. Love the baseball decor but it's not a tacky sports-bar. The pizza, like the beer is fresh, tasty and balanced. Nothing TOO extreme but done extremely well. Service was amazing - outdoor area was large and the fire-pits were a nice touch. The mango beer and the peanuts and crackerjack made me very much when I can get back to this place. Well conceived and properly executed. A gem. Very accommodating to my kids as well. The service was also spot on but I'm a little sad the servers don't slide down the fire-pole to bring your purchases (kidding).
