The site of a former Aztec zoo, its present incarnation, open since the 1920s, is best known for its Russian pandas.
I took my 10 years old kid to this zoo and he loved it... Lots of animals and birds... Located at Bosque de Chapultepec it is perfect for a walk and a time with family and kids... You can reach the zoo by taking public transportation like the bus or metro, entrance is for free however you can leave a cash contribution to support the zoo

The only aquarium in Mexico City with 14,000 animals of 350 different species. Divided into 4 areas where people can learn while having fun and learn about the marine diversity. Strategically located in the tourist area of Polanco, close to the most exclusive shopping centers and main avenues. Visitors are surprised by the more than 5 species of sharks, living coral, several species of jellyfish, seahorses, stingrays, piranhas, among others.
We had a family outing to the Inbursa Aquarium including my two year old granddaughter. Everybody had a great time as we passed by the different fish tanks including sharks, colorful tropical fish, jellyfish to end up with playful penguins. Lots of photo opportunities and family time. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite crowded but I guess on weekdays it must be quiet.
This aquarium houses a wide variety of species from both tropical and temperate climates.
