It was liberating to stroll down the streets with kids in tow, one with a trike and another with a scooter. After some walking, u can cool down and buy some drinks from the kiosks or adults can enter malls and buy food for take out. U can also rent a bike, there is an exhibit on plants when we visited and maybe more activities at night. Just wear masks and faceshields and of course, maintain social distancing.

I was worried and concerned about safety issue prior to my visit as many people warned me that this place is not safe. In fact, it is very safe especially during day time and i had a really good time here staying at bayleaf hotel. No problem at all. For those who are visiting Manila, it is recommended to spend for a day or two here. Things to do are tour by carlos during weekend (3hours) including horse ride etc, distiller museum, san augustine museum and church, cheap massage (300pesos) at same street where distiller museum is located, city wall, Barbara dinner with show, casa manila , manila national art museum (nearby).

Eastwood City

There is nothing more comfortable than living in Eastwood City where you can walk, dine, buy groceries, watch live concerts and see a movie all in one place. Should you want to eat or have coffee in the middle of the night or even the wee hours of the morning, you can expect establishments open 24/7 to cater to your cravings. I love how everything is in Eastwood for you to shop or even have your health check-ups.

I rented an Airbnb in this part of Manila for its views of Manila Bay and easy access to shops, fresh fruit and vegetables, and bars. Wonderful, friendly people and a true adventure into the Filipino culture
