Together they are a powerful team that will delight & astound
This show is pure entertainment and will delight everyone who sees it. We were a small group of 5 adults, but it is also a great show for families so feel comfortable bringing the little ones along too. The intimate setting & unique location really enhance your experience as an audience and Sam and Rosanna are such talented magicians and warm , funny entertainers... it really is all about true showmanship & amazing illusions. They look for audience participation, but don't feel anxious about this because Sam and Rosanna make you feel so much at ease, you don't want to leave the stage after the trick is finished!!! And its Fun with a capital F My advice....Go and see this show NOW. before it is snapped up and moved to Las Vegas!!!

Saw this show with my friend, who is a huge lover of Poe! We both loved the experience and would definitely come back again! The actors were phenomenal, in particular the Raven, who stole the show. The performance is unique for every individual and there’s a new adventure around every turn. The set and costuming were also fantastic and there was no detail spared. 10/10

J.K ROWLING’S HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD – WELCOMES YOU BACK TO HOGWARTS. The magic has returned to Melbourne’s East End Theatre District. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child “Will make you believe magic is happening right in front of your eyes” (101.9 The Fox, Melbourne). Prepare to experience a thrilling new adventure that the Herald Sun calls “Spellbinding – Like nothing on Earth”. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the most awarded production in the history of Britain’s Olivier Awards, winning a record breaking nine awards including Best New Play and Best Director. The play has also won six Tony Awards on Broadway, including best play. Now playing exclusively at the Princess Theatre, the Australian home to Harry Potter and The Cursed Child.
This is a really impressive production, clearly with a considerable budget backing it. Even with the pretty expensive ticket costs it’s worth it as you’re getting about five hours of high-quality entertainment out of it. However, it’s not without its flaws. Positives: The special effects are the best I’ve seen in a theatre production. The acting is mostly very good, particularly Albus and Scorpius. Its also genuinely satisfying for HP fans like me to see so many of the old characters acted almost perfectly, especially McGonagall, Snape and Moaning Myrtle. The story is compelling, and although it’s divided into four parts (two plays each with an interval) it never feels stretched out and there’s always some suspense or excitement. It’s also genuinely quite shocking/scary at times, which I didn’t see coming. Might be an issue for small kids but for me it gave it more gravitas. It’s also a lovely theatre. Negatives: A few small quibbles. It’s a little slow to get going, and some of the actors sometimes speak far too quickly, particularly Hermione. Some of the dialog is a little tacky. Also, the massive plot hole in the original stories (Hermione being given a time turner, something widely banned and only entrusted to a very select few, to improve her studies) is highlighted for all its preposterousness here. The ending is a bit meh. None of the negatives above will stop you coming away from this happy with the experience though, so I strongly recommend it.

The Mission to Seafarers has operated from its heritage-listed building at Flinders Street since 1917, providing welfare services to support the international seafaring community who bring goods to our homes for the economy to thrive, and for the health of our island nation The building is architecturally significant and is considered a fine urban example of a merging of the ‘Arts and Crafts’ and ‘Spanish Mission Revival’ architectural styles in Melbourne. Open daily to the public, visitors are encouraged to take a self-guided tour through the building’s collection of stories of Melbourne’s maritime history, and to explore the Norla Dome, learn the history of the Chapel, peak inside long-lost nooks and discover the hidden garden and courtyard. The enchanting design offers a unique venue for functions and events of all styles and sizes; with full bar facilities, a commercial kitchen, and all within a short stroll from the CBD and easily accessible by public transport.
