There are a number of small galleries in the Eau Gallerie arts district but the 5th Avenue Gallery is by far the best in terms of the quality of the artists represented. Most of the other galleries feature only local artists and much of the work is rather amateurish and aimed at tourists.

We also offer several events throughout the year. Go to our website rossetterhousemuseum or our official Facebook Page Rossetter House Museum for more information on these special events.
I bumped into this place while riding through the Eau Galle district of Melbourne, FL and had no idea what a treasure it was. I also had no idea that the house and families who inhabited it were so instrumental in developing the area. Our tour guide, Barbara really knew her history and provided many stories of the house, local history, grounds, and familes in the house. I would definitely recommend visiting this house if you are into history, particularly local history. Definitely worth the time to visit. Had no idea this is an event venue for weddings, showers, and other gatherings, too. Many interesting plants on the grounds, too.

The Foosaner Art Museum, located in the Eau Gallie Arts District, was established March 8, 1978 as the Brevard Art Center and Museum, Inc. On July 1, 2011, the Museum merged with the Florida Institute of Technology. A $1 million gift was received from the Foosaner Foundation to benefit the Museum, now officially known as the Foosaner Art Museum. The Museum is a gathering place, a visitor attraction, a landmark, an anchor, a catalyst for change; we exist to educate and to deliver a message that will encourage people to think differently about their relationship to others and the world; a center of creativity, the Museum collects, displays and interprets all aspects of the visual arts, particularly women artists, in ways that relate to the past, to the present, and to the future. The Foosaner Art Museum’s permanent collection is comprised of five categories: Modern and Contemporary Art, The Conill Mendoza Collection of American Industrial Design, Asian Art, Cultural Education Collection and Women Artists.Throughout the year, visitors can experience a changing selection from the Museum’s permanent collection. Lectures, Jazz Fridays and Free Thursdays are just a few events that populate our ongoing calendar. Visit our website, or like us on Facebook to stay informed of our current exhibitions and events.
Have lived in the area for years, finally getting a chance to see what Brevard County has to offer. The day we visited the works of David Grose were being displayed.. amazing decoupage ! Even got to meet the artist himself since he is local. Inspired my sister and I to look up his gallery and will be heading there next. The museum is not huge as previously stated, but modern and very informative ,helpful staff. Parking fairly good & close. Lots of places to shop & eat in easy walking distance. always leave a donation since this is a gem in the area that we all appreciate. Allow an hour. Plus some time for the gift shop!
