Reminiscing during lockdown on our trip with Nomad 20 years ago! Probably very different set up compared to now. 7 of us and a great group of people. Certainly no luxury, just a tent and a sleeping bag. The sights and sounds were amazing, our guides were brilliant, we will never forget it. We loved it!

Our township tour is ideal for travellers who would like to experience a 'day in the life' of a local resident. Off the touristy paths and in a surreal environment that most travellers don't get to see. We visit the first settlement of the 'working class' community and then progress to the recent and affluent parts of the township. It’s fascinating to explore historic Chinotimba, but it’s easy to lose your way in the area’s maze-like, narrow streets. To stay oriented and ensure you don’t miss key highlights, join a private guide with deep knowledge of local culture. It’s fully personalised to your preferences, whether you’re shopping for local textiles, interested in history, or learning about the township's unique architecture. Find key landmarks in the confusing historic centre. Customisable tour ensures personal service Get tips from a local on where to eat, drink, and visit Convenient pickup from hotels in Chinotimba and Mkhosana.
Inclusions: Private transportation, Bottled water
Exclusions: Dinner, Lunch
What a fabulous wee trip. Picked up at our villa we drove out to local helicopter landing site where our hosts set up. Our guide was very knowledgeable informative about all this celestial. Unfortunately for us the moon was resplendent in all its glory so no dark sky. However we saw many constellations and heard many stories of battles and gods. We now need to do the same at home????. The only thing we might suggest is that folding chairs may be a help for folks necks. We really enjoyed the evening however and learned loads. Every blessing on the future of your business.

We had a 3 night Victoria Falls package put together by Batoka Safaris packed with exciting activities for the whole family. Activities included a sunset cruise, a tour of the falls, lion & elephant encounters and a game drive. Solomon, our driver was friendly, punctual, always smartly dressed and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate even our smallest requests. He was patient with our young children and willing to answer general questions. Solomon ensured smooth handovers to third party service providers when they were required. Thank you Batoka Safaris for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Batoka Safaris for group travel and touring.

I found Thembi and ThisAndThat Safaries through an online search. He was quick to respond and made me several offers for day trips and transfers. As always, I used several different platforms to find reviews. He had outstanding comments on them all so I gave him our business. The money issue in Zimbabwe way is truly sad, difficult to navigate, and time-consuming...as well as frustrating for the tourist. His connection with WorldRemit made it all seamless and we did not have to carry a large amount of US currency. We booked three-day tours, one to the cave paintings and Kami ruins, one to Matapos to see the rhinos (and we did see several) and one to visit the downtown sites. The museum was really well done and the railway museum was grand fun. We climbed all over the trains, into many of the passenger cars on display, and even made it into a couple of the locomotive boilers...bear in mind, our group ranged in age from 65 to 79,,,.smile. Our drivers and cars were clean, modern and comfortable. Our safari rover was huge, open and offered a grand day in the park, and our guides were all amazingly friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Thembi was onstop with communication and a delight to work with. Make sure you tip the drivers and guides. These folks are wonderful and a few extra dollars goes a long, long way in making their lives a bit more comfortable.

Organising the trip to & fro the activity as well as the activity on behalf of my friend and I was very efficiently done by Banos. Prompt/polite communication received from him on updates. We were picked up on the day in a very comfortable car, and the ride there was really smooth indeed whilst we received some well appreciated info/facts about Livingstone from him during the ride. We really enjoyed our activity - The Zip Ride which came with spectacular views of the water falls as well as a GoPro video shoot of the whole ride & pics to take away. Adorable Travel and Tours did a great job on this particular trip with us. Could't have asked for a better service...Very well done!

Enjoy an African experience in a Village , meet local people and get to understand their daily lives in from sunrise to evening. Victoria Falls has a number of Villages some kilometers away from town. In the Village home duties are shared based on gender and age too. Less of township life is practiced there. Women do most of domestic work and men do the most hard duties usually out in the veld doing small scale hunting on rabbits and also herding cattle away from predators:lions and hyenas. An outing that will give one a chance to socialize and share a life with villagers. New friends are made in this African experience. New recipes are an added knowledge in a lifetime. The day in day out life on men in Village contributes to the fact that : why men life expectancy is always deemed short compared to women. Such of discussions and views will come up on board basing views from the experience accrued in the tour before end.
Inclusions: Private Tour
Exclusions: Gratuities (optional) to ones discretion or donation
