Maryland is known as “America in Miniature” because of its great variations in topography and culture. This makes it a perfect east coat travel destination for those who would like to experience a little bit of everything. From amusement parks, to beaches, to mountains and historical sites, there is plenty to see and do. Each region of Maryland provides its own unique and fun activities to do. If you're headed for some fun in the sun in Ocean City on its eastern coast, be sure not to miss the Ocean City Beach, the Boardwalk, or Trimper's Rides and Amusement Park for an all-ages fun experience. Central Maryland is home to a Six Flags theme park, the Annapolis Golf Club, and countless hubs of art and culture such as the African Art Museum and Annapolis Opera, Inc. Heading to western Maryland? It is perfect for lovers of nature and the outdoors, with the Washington Monument State Park, Wisp Resort ski slopes, and the spectacular Muddy Creek Falls.

I've taken numerous children over the years and each and every one of them wants to return. The two rides are so much fun for them, but the playground is one of the best around. It's so enormous that children can truly run around! For the most part, the park is full of well-behaved children with caretakers who warn the older kids to watch out for the smaller ones. Tons of picnic tables, although I must say I normally go during the week - I'm sure the picnic table situation is a lot tougher on Saturdays and Sundays. So bring a large blanket...there's tons of room to spread out.

The Field of Screams Maryland in Olney is the largest and most popular multi-haunt in Maryland with 4 awesome haunts in one location!! A quick car ride to 4 haunts - what's not to love?!! 30 min walk on the TRAIL OF TERROR or HAUNTED TRAIL and a crazy tour of the new SLAUGHTER FACTORY if you can handle it! An amazing hayride to die for!! , Field of Screams Maryland is 40+ acres of thrills. We have great food and big bonfires to hang out around while you eat fried Oreos, fried Twinkies, funnel cakes and the best hot chocolate around! Our haunt is sick and our location is sick!!
After visiting the Field Of Screams in Lancaster, PA, we wanted to check out the MD version also. Glad we did. Easy ticket purchasing online and lots of free parking made it a super fun Saturday evening. We ended up being the first group through which made it even more exciting. The “actors” were fresh and ready for us ????????????. No gift shop like PA, but the refreshment stand had plenty of yummy offerings. Definitely worth checking out!!!

We just returned from Frontier Town in Ocean City, MD. We were there from the 23rd of October to the 30th of October. The campground was packed on the day we arrived with all kinds of decorations for Halloween. The campground has a contest for campsite decorations along with costumes winners. The place is big and has a lot of things to do just in the campground. They have a camp store with ready to go food, Lazy River Saloon, a Creamery, General Store and activities for children. They are right on the water and they have a launch ramp for people with boats. Ocean City and Assateague Island are just minutes away. Great place to visit, plenty to do.

Every time we go "ride the rides" as my son would say the operators at Trimpers make the memory along with the rides. Some of the rides are very old school which i love, I remember riding the Snoopy airplanes and fairy whip as a child! They have hidden restrooms that could be cleaner but are no where near as busy as the boardwalk restrooms. The rides are run a lot longer than the Jolly Roger rides on the pier, the biggest part for me is the operators, 90% of the time they genuinely seem like they care that your child is having a great time unlike the Jolly Roger side where they all seem miserable. Ill make the 3.5 hour trip a couple times a year for my kiddos to go ride the Trimpers rides!
