Yes, getting there is a bit of a project. But vacationers have been braving the ferry for years, and this tiny island off Cape Cod remains one of the most popular and picturesque destinations in New England. Among the island's towns, you're sure to find the Vineyard that's right for you. With stately Greek revival houses dating back to the whaling era of the early 19th century, Edgartown is a seaside village of boutique shopping and pristine harbor views. For more of a "beach town" feel, Oak Bluffs has the Flying Horses carousel, an arcade and an easy walk to the beach, plus the history and charm of the "gingerbread" houses in the Methodist campgrounds. Vineyard Haven offers visitors a blend of both. For a real retreat, Chilmark/Aquinnah is the place to get away from it all. In the off-season, the island is quieter and far less crowded, but the shore is always beautiful. Whenever you visit, leave your car behind! Cabs are plentiful and greet the incoming ferries to help you reach your destination. Most visitors prefer to explore the island on a bicycle, scooter or tourist-friendly public buses.

This place was an absolute treasure. The chocolate was phenomenal, totally underrated, and very reasonably priced. We had no idea, so we waited in line for a while, and once we got in we just put together one box and left. Once we got back to our hotel and started trying the chocolate, we lamented that we didn't buy 3 more boxes! I am sure this place will be missed - we would have loved to have gone back.

In 2016 we were voted Silver for Candy Shops on Martha's Vineyard by Cape Cod LIfe with comparable accolades since 2011. We have a charming shop nestled in a residential area overlooking the Oak Bluffs harbor offering chocolates, antiques, vintage jewelry, botanicals & magickal treasures! Make some time during your day to stop in and sample our delicious Enchanted Chocolates, made with fine 70% cacao. Our favorites are Almond Butter Crunch, MV Sea Salted Caramels, Chocolate Covered Cape Cod Cranberries, and so much more. Have you ever heard of Stoner Food? Inquire within; it has a cult-like following these days! We are open Mon-Sat in season and Wed- Sat. in the off season. Otherwise by chance or appointment.

As one of Martha's Vineyard's most talented local fine art photographers, Jeff Serusa's images go above and beyond in the world of maritime photography. Using only film cameras and all natural light, Serusa creates exquisite images of sail boats, ships, and serene island landscapes. Serusa's use of color and contrast lends itself well to these eye catching images, available for purchase on canvas and watercolor paper.

We are a jewelry and accessories boutique located in an historic building in downtown Edgartown on the island of Martha's Vineyard. Our boutique is two rooms full of indulgences like jewelry, handmade leather accessories, locally made bags, summery scarves, travel cases for jewelry and makeup, beach sarongs, hand poured candles that are made in the USA, silk scarves, letterpress greeting cards, cork clutches, jewelry dishes and much more! We make all of the jewelry we sell and our studio and workshop are adjoined to the shop. We specialize in colorful glass tile beaded jewelry and jewelry that features the shape of Martha's Vineyard. Our beads that have the map of Martha's Vineyard stamped in them have been custom designed by Stefanie and our shop is the only place you will find these special island pieces. They make the perfect souvenirs, gifts and keepsakes. Our locally-owned shop is one of the few shops in downtown Edgartown that is open year round. Come see us next time you're on the Vineyard and shop local!
A must-see stop if you have the good fortune to be in Edgartown, MA. This is a thoughtfully curated shop with a good variety of gifts or keep sakes to remember a trip to magical Martha's Vineyard. I appreciated both the welcoming vibe and the well-designed goods.

After being let down by several “homemade” ice cream stands we heard about Ben & Bill’s from a long time summer resident at the beach. He did not steer us wrong! Everyone’s ice creams were delicious and we got a small of the lobster ice cream(real lobster chunks) to try and it was delicious! Definitely in small portions but worth trying!

We stopped with our 4 kids (aged 13 down to 5) and loved seeing the beautiful pieces. We had to split into smaller groupings due to Covid and the glass blowing was also different due to precautions as well. The worker was very knowledgeable and kind. We would have stayed longer but limited our time due to the number of people allowed inside.

This is an iconic spot on Martha's Vineyard. The island is extremely literary and this is the place people gather and chat as well as pick up a great read. Don't miss it!
