The studio and workshop are situated in the idyllic village of Tasman. The studio at the front is the original store for the area, and has had life as general store, a cafe and a pottery shop. Come and see a working loom (sometimes we are just getting ready, so may not be working), have a try on our wee hand loom. See woodwork and weaving in a renovated 103 year old store.

Interactive Wooden Art Gallery, RARE CREATIONS offers Contemporary Furniture and a huge range of related wooden art and technical kit sets from 3 to 99 years old to bring back the lost creativity. It is the only gallery where it is almost compulsory to touch as we have many technical moving toys and sculptures.

Our wines are crafted from hand-picked vines on Flaxmore’s north-facing slopes. Clay-gravels, climate and attention to detail have resulted in fine, balanced wines which fully express our vineyard’s special character. We have just opened our unique gallery with a range of art from local and NZ artists, encompassing photography, painting and sculpture. A permanent art collection is also on display to enjoy along with your wine tasting and vineyard walk. You can visit us every weekend through the Summer (Oct-Easter) from 10 until 5 or, if you'd like to visit on weekdays, just give us a call or text. The Cool Store Gallery is a scenic 25 minute cruse from Nelson, located at the popular destination of the Mapua wharf.
