There is no word to express my gratitude to Richard and his team who were amazing on my Amazon trip. It's a vast region and there are many animals and birds and plants and trees in there. The guide as a local knew a lot about these things and was informal and good at explaining them. I can totally recommend them.

This was my second time in the Amazon. I had been to the Amazon jungle in Manu. Tambopata has its own charm. The place is surreal, way too deeper and offers the opportunity to spot more animals and birds. The tour leader was very nice and fun to be with. The lodges and food they served were also outstanding.

We decided to visit the Nazca Lines and Ballestas Islands on a relatively short notice. In spite of this, Derwis and Vilma took action and made all the reservations within 24 hours, and communicated with us constantly to make sure we knew what was going on at all times. The trip was well-organized and everything went according to the itinerary. Paracas, where we stayed, is a beautiful city. At night we dined at some of the restaurants by the seaside and enjoyed relaxing and pleasant views and walks. The food was superb too! Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this memorable experience! - Hannah and Juan.

Still grateful for this trip back in 2017, when we stayed at the Shipetiari community in Manu. It is such a fascinating place and the stay in the albergue Pankotsi was very special. When everything is new and unknown, it is so nice to see how eager the people of the community are to show you around in the jungle, make you taste their food and get a little insight in their traditional customs. Professionally organised by Explore Manu: it shows they work closely together with the community which is great. Make sure you take at least 4 days for this, you won't regret it and never forget it!

For the Incas, Cusco was the bellybutton of the world. A visit to this city and its nearby ruins takes you back to the cosmic kingdom of ancient Andean culture, merged with the colonial imprint of the Spanish conquest, only to be repackaged as a thriving tourist center. The capital of Cusco is known as the gateway to Machu Picchu, one of the 7 wonders of the world. An impressive landscape extends from Andean peaks to cloud forests rich in orchids and Amazonian lowlands. Explore it on foot or with thick tires, rafting in wild rivers or simply challenging local buses to remote corners and worn away by the dust of this powerful cultural department. The National Park of Manu is a world Heritage site and one of the areas with the most biodiversity in the world. one of the biggest attractions of the Park are the collpas, habitat of flocks of macaws, as well as other wildlife species.
