I love it here, I’d much rather go to the palace than drive to York for the big chain cinemas. Plenty of legroom and reasonably priced snacks and drinks.

FIND. SOLVE. ESCAPE. An immersive one of a kind 60 minute adventure. Your team will locked in a themed room for 60 minutes. Find clues, solve puzzles and complete your mission to escape.... before your time is up. Great for friends, families, work colleagues and team building.
A really well thought out Escape Room!! We went as a family with two adults, a 20-year-old and a 16-year-old. We just about escaped and found all the clues satisfying and clever! A pretty snapshot decision to go resulted in a thoroughly enjoyable evening! The staff were friendly and gave us all just enough hints! Well-run, well-made and well worth a visit!

The Great Ryedale Maze returns! An attraction for all the family, nestled in beautiful countryside at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds! We have a field full of fun with nine acres of maize plants and for younger adventurers there’s the two-acre Scarecrow Mini-Maze. With a Vintage Funfair, Game Stalls, Football Darts, and then watch some live entertainment in our Big Top.
We visited a couple of days before the maze closed in September during our Staycation (thanks covid!) and ended up having such a fun afternoon! 2 adults, without kids, we weren't sure it would be for us... But I am so glad we gave it a try! The maize maze was a really good height, nearly as tall as me in many places (5foot,5), so even my over 6 foot husband couldn't see over the top to cheat! We lucked out on our mid-week visit and for the most part it was if we had the maze to ourselves! We ran around in the sunshine for around 90 minutes - and we still didn't find all of the clues! It was such a fun afternoon, walking in the sunshine through the corn with the wind rustling through and just the faint sound of fairground music... Weirdly very peaceful! The food looked overpriced, but we had brought our own snacks so no need to join the long queue. Entry includes 2 rides on the fairground. There wasn't much choice, so we went on the carousel and the dodgems and had a giggle! There were many portaloos to use, hand sanitizer was freely available before/after going on all of the rides and social distancing was mostly always observed. We paid around £24 for 2 adults, buying our tickets in advance online as we weren't sure if they could be purchased on arrival. Whilst this is expensive, we ended up really enjoying ourselves and for something fun and different to do we would recommend.
