Penang Ferry Terminal

Reviewed By mckeeverc - Berlin, Germany

Love the ferry from Butterworth to the island. So much faster than the bridge. Penang traffic is a nightmare, similar to Dublin Ireland ( without the palm trees). The ferry takes the pressure off the traffic

Penang Ferry Service

Reviewed By atingy - Frankfurt, Germany

Its entrance is a little bit difficult to find from clocktower Victoria, if you are in hurry better use grab or taxi directly and ask the driver to you show the walking entrance. At malaysia mainland (Butterworth) the ferry arrive directly inside Penang Central Mall so it is very convenient. From Penang Island to Mainland no ticket needed, from Mainland to Penang Island, ticket only 1-2 ringgit.
