The dreamy island that provided inspiration to Chopin and Miró now has a reputation as a spring break beach destination. Don't worry, though, if you're vacationing over elementary school spring break-- there's plenty for the younger crowd. Marineland's dolphin and sea lion shows and children's beach attract families. And if you have a Thomas-obsessed toddler, the antique train that travels between Palma and Soller is a must-see.

A very nice loop trail through mountains with amazing views from Dragon Island and the ruins of an old farm house. If you hike the whole loop over the pass, you should not see to many people during the first part. We enjoyed the views from Dragon Island and a nice cool ocean breeze. Well worth the effort !

A medieval hermitage holding a mysterious crucifix, rumored to have appeared at the site by a miracle.
Got a taxi from port alcudia to pollensa for around 16 euros , went straight for the Calvary steps , huffed and puffed up the steps stopping to look at the views front and back . Stopped for a pic with the smiley music man , more amazing views at the top . Lovely roof top views , visited chapel and church in the square . Well worth the visit .

This is the northernmost of the. Unfortunately to the very top were the lighthouse is you can only get by car yourself, no excursion busses are going there. In high season it is very busy there and very difficult to find a parking spot, so then you'd better try very early in the morning or before high season or you just go with an excursion and see it from further away and have a nice day and enjoy "being served"

This gateway to the old town is stunning and will definitely wow you (see pics). It's original form still exists today, so you can see the guard house towers and the portcullis. Only 2 original gateways exist today and this is the best one of the 2. It is picturesque and together with the town walls starting from this gateway, you have a real understanding of how it was historically.

The main square as it’s know in Pollença old town. Cafe’s and restaurants situated around the square offering great food and drink. Lovely architecture, including the towns oldest church frontage which is beautiful. Great place to sit and have a coffee, glass of your favourite tipple or a meal and watch people go by. Also alas the best view of the Puig de Maria. We love to have a late coffee and brandy after a meal and relax in the chilled atmosphere.
