See the most beautiful sights and get a quick overview of Mainz. Cycle along the Rhine in the direction of Mainz Cathedral and St. Stephen's Church, which is best known for its blue stained glass windows, which are unique in Germany and designed by Marc Chagall. Then on to the southern outskirts of Jakobsberg, where the citadel has been guarding the old town of Mainz for more than 300 years. After a relaxed ascent with the e-bikes, you will not only be rewarded with a great view of Mainz, but also with one of the largest green areas in the city. Take a deep breath and relax! There is of course enough time for photos during the tour.

I was disappointed that despite booing this Tour, I received last minute notice that it had been cancelled due to rain. They did not mention this possibility when I booked it. If they had I would have checked the weather before, and booked something else. As it happened, this left a hole in my schedule that I could not5 fill at the last minute.

Martin Luther is NOT the same historical figure as MARTIN LUTHER KING Jr. Germany is not the same nation as the US. Martin Luther was the great GERMAN reformer of the 1500s. Martin Luther King Jr. was the great civil rights American reformer of the 1960s. I keep trying to help this organization, but they don't seem to worry about trivia like historical facts.

After the end of the Second World War, several divisions of the US Army were permanently stationed in West Germany. At the time of the Cold War, there were constantly more than 200,000 US soldiers. For taking a trip into your past, this tour is just perfect for you! Heidelberg is the ideal starting point for such a trip, as the majority of the US troops were stationed within a radius of just 50 miles around Heidelberg. If you go to "What To Expect" you may find more than 130 relevant sites including the names of barracks and other US facilities.
