Maine Huts & Trails is a non-profit organization dedicated to outdoor adventure and environmental stewardship in western Maine. Explore over 80 miles of non-motorized recreational trails, free and open to the public all year. Along the trail system are four eco-lodges showcasing environmentally responsible design, and offering overnight accommodations (reservations required), potable water, and bathroom facilities. Hi there! I'm your guide, Willow. I've spent thousands of hours collecting and identifying mushrooms all over the United States. I grew up on Mount Desert Island, Maine, and graduated from College of the Atlantic in 2017. I have a close relationship with the flora and funga of Maine, and am eager to share what I know on my guided foraging sessions!

We offer guided running and hiking tours of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We run at a casual pace with periodic stops so you can catch your breath while enjoying the breathtaking views.
