Located 5 miles inland from the Camden waterfront sits our 68-acre property complete with our 200-year-old barn-turned-tasting room, gift shop, vineyard, and winery. During the summer of 2020, we are offering self-directed wine tastings with a reservation. For more information visit mainewine.com
With Covid the winery is doing reservations only. The Cellar Door was on our "must do" list for our 24 hour visit to Camden, and thanks to Carolyn at Captain Swift Inn, she got is an afternoon reservation. We sat outside on rocking chairs overlooking the grounds and vineyard (photo) and enjoyed a flight of wine each and charcuterie plate. Then picked our favorite, and bought a bottle and sat and enjoyed that as well. . It was a beautiful day, very relaxed visit, and the wine was spectacular. Definitely one of the highlights of our Camden trip!

We are currently open for tastings and sell plenty of year-round and brewery-only beer to go. We are not currently booking brewery tours, but we have a food truck onsite featuring lobster rolls and other tasty treats for you to make a day of it. So if you're in the area, stop by and say hello! Allagash Brewing Company strives to make the best Belgian-inspired beer in the world. Founded in Portland, Maine, the brewery loves giving back to the community—and state—that has supported it since 1995. In 2019 the brewery became a Certified B Corp and Allagash founder Rob Tod won the James Beard Award for Outstanding Wine, Spirits, or Beer Professional. Allagash currently stands as one of the 50 largest craft breweries in the U.S. (by sales volume) and has earned a spot on Maine’s Best Places to Work list for seven years running. Allagash is distributed in: CA, CT, DC, DE, GA, IL (Chicagoland only), MA, MD, ME, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, SC, VA, VT, and WI.
My friends and I booked the Saturday 1:00pm tour. (Book your tickets ahead of time; they fill up!) We had a great time sampling different beers and learning about the history of the brewery. We stayed afterwards to enjoy the beautiful weather, our favorite beers, and a quick bite at the food truck (Bite into Maine) that parks right outside. They have an outstanding lobster grilled cheese.

Bigelow Brewing has a belief that beer can and should be about a place. We strive to make beer from our community, using local ingredients to feel a sense of ownership of where we live. We are committed to our local community and hope it influences our customers to expect that from their beer. It is important that every beer Bigelow Brewing produces is made with malts that are grown in Maine. Fruits and vegetables are from local farmers. One of the things we love about Maine and specifically the Skowhegan community, is how local customers and businesses support one another. Using local products is a chance to support small farmers and preserve our agricultural heritage.
Had a chance to visit this place for the first time the other day. Really really was impressed the way they refurbished the old Horsebarn that they were in. The atmosphere is really really cool so clean really nice. The beer absolutely fantastic. They have some very cool pizza that’s wood fired. They also do a Sunday brunch . Ya gotta check this place out.

It all started during a family dinner with a joking statement of “lets make our own whisky.” With a shared love for good whisky and fascination to see how things are made, this father and son team decided to explore the idea. David and David Woods researched and studied (and some say obsessed) over how to build a still and process alcohol. Now, winning awards, the Woods family understand that they have created something very special.
Wiggly Bridge Review We happened to pass by Wiggly Bridge and we decided to make a stop there and check it out. First I tried the white whisky and while I am not a fan of white spirits, I found it to be a very nice surprise, hints of vanilla and very smooth. The small batch bourbon was very smooth and wasn’t overly hot. The two standouts for me were the bottled in bond bourbon and the small batch rum. The extra aging of the bottled in bond bourbon really showed, even smoother with good oak, toast and caramel flavors. It was incredibly drinkable. The small batch rum was perfect for sipping, hint of sweetness without the syrupy feeling that I get with some of the darker rums. I purchased two bottles of the bottled in bond bourbon and one of the small batch rum. My wife had a cocktail called a Pain Killer which she really enjoyed as well. The distillery barn has excellent ambiance and the COVID protections are unobtrusive but there. The owner an staff were very friendly and we had a great conversation while there. We will definitely come back every time we are in ogunquit.

Side By Each Brewing Co. is a small brewery with a big tasting room, offering 12 or more frequently changing beers in a wide variety of styles, with the unifying themes of creativity, diversity, respect for tradition, and uncompromising quality. We have growlers and kegs to go, filled to order with a nifty machine that preserves the beer’s quality far longer than your average tap-filled jug. Starting early in the morning we brew up CBD coffee and espresso drinks and sell locally made pastries and breakfast sandwiches – we can fill your growlers in the morning, too, and if you want us to pour you a morning beer, who are we to judge? Pinky D’s Poutine Factory slings lunch and dinner from their new kitchen inside our space. A few times a year we put on sweet special events, and there are always friends and families hanging out, a great community gathering space – and did we mention, awesome beer?
This brewery has something for everyone. Beer, cider, sours, and coffee. Staff is super friendly and always willing to explain and suggest. If your in the Auburn,ME. Area, make this one of your stops, you won't be disappointed!

Shipyard Brewing Company is a family owned brewery - rooted in tradition and brimming with innovation. Our award-winning beer is handcrafted by our team of brewers who learned their art from world-renowned master brewer, Alan Pugsley. We are committed to cultivating a new generation of creative, passionate brewers. Our team is constantly exploring innovative and diverse styles of beer through our pilot system at our Portland brewery and our 7-barrel system at Federal Jack's Brew Pub in Kennebunk Harbor. Established in 1994, this family-run brewery set up shop in what was once a maritime foundry on the waterfront of Portland. Starting with our flagship Export Ale, we've produced over 65 handcrafted, traditional beers in the heart of this vibrant Maine community.
Located on Portland’s East End this is a neat brewery located in an old building that used to manufacture railroad rails. They have about 10 beers on tap and they are numbered. If you want to try a beer flight you read the beer description and write on a chalkboard what number you want to try under each flight glass hole on your paddle....an ingenious idea. The Export was my favorite and I was told that was their original beer. I don’t think they have food here as we brought pizza in from Micucci’s.....see my review. They have great service and a really friendly atmosphere....they also have board games you can play. They have a gift area where you can buy brewery swag. The restrooms are large and clean. They are building a “brewtel” next door which will be a very convenient place to stay so you can drink all the beer you want and don’t have to worry about getting home or to your hotel.

Wanted some bbq so we googled Mainely meat and Atlantic Brewing Company came up so we dropped in for lunch. Susan was our waitress and was friendly and pleasant. We chose the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad . Great choice! Came on thick toasted bread, I got the hot sauce which complemented the juicy tender pork well. Going back to try the ribs soon. The smokers were nearby and wonderful smells were in the air.
