Historic Garden, Park Lands & Homestead. The property contains over 100 species of significant plants and trees; a mud brick homestead and historical remnants of the past. The trees date back to the 1870's with many being over 60 metres in height. Some amazing flora & fauna exists on the 10 acres of land including exotic birdlife and native Australian animals including echidnas, wombats & wallabies. A peaceful, tranquil and beautiful park to lose yourself from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. Please be my guest!

Hosted by volunteers from Gisborne Golf Club (a 45 minute drive north-west of Melbourne) you'll be able to get very close to our large wild population of kangaroos from the comfort of a 5-seater golf buggy. The kangaroos roam around the golf course naturally and you can watch or photograph them whilst they go about their day.
Myself, my sister, and my mum went up to Gibsborne for this tour having been recommended it by a friend. Patrick and Derek were so friendly and knowledgable about the kangaroos and the Gisborne area in general. We loved it - saw about 100 kangaroos. Darting around the golf course in the buggy is good fun too. Such good value also. You can make a day of it and head to hanging rock after. Would highly recommend for any age group to support l local community tourism

What a great place to visit, the walk to the summit is pretty easy (although quite steep at times) and once there, there are so many lookouts. Take the time to find each points of interest, it makes for a fun day and it'll ensure you get to see the many angles there are to see! We returned the following day to get some better photos (the 1st day was cloudy) and still managed to see parts we didn't see the 1st day. Tip for the people who want to enjoy the scenery and ambiance of the reserve... Get there early before the bus loads of families with their screaming kids...lol ????????
