Just came back from an amazing Kampala City tour and I highly recommend Twaha as a tour guide. I saw him on an influencer’s YouTube channel and he definitely lived up to expectations. He picked me up on time and took me to Kampala City highlights such as the Baha’i Temple, Kampala monuments, Gaddafi Mosque, and King’s Palace/Idi Amin’s torture chamber. He went above and beyond and tried to squeeze in as many ‘extras’ as he could with our time constraints. He’s personable, very knowledgeable about Kampala’s current and past history, and experienced with maneuvering around the city in an efficient way to maximize your time.

This is our most popular 2-day activity. It is incredible value for money, offering you return transport from Kampala, one-night accommodation either at the tea-house or the Nile River Camp, breakfast, lunch, plenty of beers and snacks after the trip and over 200 photos. We're almost forgetting the 3-4 hours of incredible whitewater and a 19km journey down the mighty white Nile with the best crew in the business.

If you are visiting Uganda on a business trip and you’re not able to take long safari, you can take this 1 day Jinja tour to see a bit outside of Kampala to three main sites. The tour starts after an early breakfast preferably 7:30 am in the morning from Kampala or Entebbe to avoid the traffic jam. You will drive through tea plantations, sugar plantations and colorful roadside fruit and vegetable markets. On two stops you will see several Ugandans selling roast meat as a quick snack for travelers in buses and taxis. You will visit the Ssezibwa waterfalls, Mabira forest and source of R. Nile.

The Safari was my highlight for the year. The scenery is refreshing, people are amazing, the food at Murchison River Lodge was to die for. The Safari mates made the whole experience fun and memorable.

Jinja is a town in southern Uganda, on the shore of Lake Victoria. The source of the Nile, at Coronation Park, is marked by a garden and a monument honoring British explorer John Hanning Speke. Owen Falls Dam and Bujagali Dam both span the Nile. Farther north on the river, Itanda Falls is known for its white-water rapids. East of Jinja, on Lake Victoria, Samuka Island is home to birdlife, including little egrets. Kampala is Uganda's national and commercial capital bordering Lake Victoria, Africa's largest lake. Hills covered with red-tile villas and trees surround an urban centre of contemporary skyscrapers. In this downtown area, the Uganda Museum explores the country's tribal heritage through an extensive collection of artefacts. On nearby Mengo Hill is Lubiri Palace, the former seat of the Buganda Kingdom.
