A captivating contrast of old and new, Luxembourg City's past is celebrated by its World Heritage status; its present sway by its position as headquarters for several significant European institutions. Small enough to explore on foot, this compact city offers a wealth of attractions, including dramatic promontory The Bock, underground passages in Petrusse Casemates, Palace of the Grand Dukes and the National Museum. Countless banks on Boulevard Royal, once a fortress moat, hint at the duchy's wealth.

A wonderful walk to make with some good friends to visit the old town of Luxembourg, beginning with the Rocher du Bock (old castel of Lutzelbuerg), and you walk down to the Grund, long on the Alzette river, you will find the romantic circuit Wenzel for a tour of about good 3 hours; nice experience;

I love this place. The playground is nice. In the summer the commune puts free trampolines. You can play ping-pong, football, sunbathe, feed the ducks, go to the bar, have a picnic and meet lots of people.

Fantastic playground and park for small kids--- a HUGE Pirate ship to climb on and up the mast and lots of sand and playground equipment as well--- a must for the little ones and you can take a break and sit down n watch them expend their energy ha

This is a delightful walk on a sunny day, even the tiny channeled Petrusse is fascinating. We were staying near to the station so walked down Rue de Strasbourg, Rue des Etats-Unis and Rue D’Anvers and picked the valley up there. The trees offer wonderful shade and a cool breeze blew down the valley. As you walk there are many benches to rest on and enjoy the scenery. Eventually the awesome view of Pont Adolphe opens up and then includes Gelle Fra and the Cathedral. Walking on we reached the Passerelle before turning back but I think you can continue into Grund and the Alzette. It took us a leisurely 60 minutes and was a delightful way to walk into the city.

Welcome in Luxembourg, in the Parc Municipal d'Edouard André, why wander so far away when it's so nice nearby me, very nice old trees, fountains, all offer moments of relaxing and only in the nature I feel me free; the surface of the city is covered with beautiful green spaces; the abundance of trees, flowers in the heart of the capital of Luxembourg makes a green belt where life is still good to support -
