We visited this beautiful lodge on a guided tour while sailing on the Majestic Princess. The family owned facility caters to tours ,weddings, special events and more( they even have a helipad). We were treated to a light lunch this day as well as demonstration of their sheep herding dogs. We really hated to leave as we were enjoying the spectacular view of the surrounding countryside and ocean in the distance.

Going to the cinema is about so much more than watching a film. At Light House we try to create an environment of comfort and sophistication to deliver a unique cinema experience. In Petone, our cinema offers a warm and inviting venue. From our spacious cafe, offering fresh in-house food and a wide selection of fine beer and wine to our secluded upstairs lounge, Light House Petone offers an escape from the everyday. Sit back, relax and unwind.

Avalon park is really good for the kids. It is full of crowd on weekends where as less no of people during weekdays. Park is well maintained and this is a great facility for a picnic or having a outdoor birthday party of a kid. Good thing is play area and entrance are FREE.
Visiting the Eastbourne summer pool is the perfect way to spend a summer's day with the family - buy a concession pass or just pop along for a casual swim.
