CAL is a small jungle hotel situated on a beautiful stream of the Amazon River 3 hours away by speedboat from Iquitos, in the virgin jungle next the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Community Reserve (ACRCTT). This reserve protects one of the most biologically diverse ecosystems in the whole Amazon Rainforest, as primates, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, birds and trees. We have 10 private bungalows all built as rustic single bedroom house. All our bungalows fully screened against insects present a casual style with a balcony facing the river or the jungle. Each bungalow has a bathroom with shower, toilette and 24-hour fresh water. A perfect place for explore and enjoy the jungle hiking, fishing or canoeing. Electricity is generated by our solar panels for lighting, charge of batteries and small appliances as laptop, mobile phone, and CPAP machine for sleep apnea.
