Lorain /ləˈreɪn/ is a city in Lorain County, Ohio, United States. The municipality is located in northeastern Ohio on Lake Erie, at the mouth of the Black River, approximately 30 miles west of Cleveland. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 64,097, making it Ohio's tenth largest city, the second largest in Greater Cleveland, and the largest in Lorain County by population.

The LoCo 'Yak Shak offers kayak lessons, kayak guided tours, and kayak rentals. Our fleet includes sit in and sit on top singles, sit on top tandem kayaks, and paddle boards. Upon special request, we offer adaptive paddling equipment for those who made need it. Our staff include American Canoe Association (ACA) Certified Coastal Kayak Instructors who have over spent the majority of their on-water time spent exploring Lake Erie's Ohio Coastline & local rivers.
Captain Denny began fishing Lake Erie at the age of 7 & has fished from Ashtabula to the Western Islands. Denny has caught virtually every species of fish found in Lake Erie & Lake Ontario. Trophy Walleye, Steelhead, Chinook & Coho Salmon, Smallmouth Bass, Yellow Perch and Brown Trout have all found their way into his landing net. Captain Denny is a retired Band Director of 30 years, operated Lakeside Bait & Tackle for 13 yrs and has completed 26 seasons as Captain of Eyeppoper Fishing Charters
